Default 747-400

Here is a picture I took on New Years Day with my Digital Rebel and the Cano 75-300 IS lens. It is not perfect, but I like it.

ISO 400
1/2500
F/8
FL 300

Jetmech1, the picture is fine, all you need to do is spend some time editing it properly. Also you may get some more quality if you use ISO 100 in this sort of situation, the shutter speed of 1/2500 indicates that you could easily get away with ISO 100.

Nice plane though, keep on taking photos~

Thanks. I still learning to use Photoshop Element 3.0. I had the camera on sports mode, should have been using manual. Thanks I enjoy all comments.

how much more different do you think your 75-300 IS is as opposed to the regular 75-300 4-5.6?

At 1/2500 shutter speed. It probably would not make much difference. I believe the IS feature was turned off. I was following the subject so Canon recomends turning off IS when following along with a moving object. This picture is 6 of 16 shots took of this aircraft during its take-off roll. All of the pictures come out good.
