Luckily our track in Las Vegas is open year around, but the big NHRA events don't happen until April, and October. Here are a few shots that I got last October from the stands.

Thanks for the comment.

Yea, I'd like one of those vests, but alas, I'm stuck in the stands. But that's ok, I have the 100-400L, and I can enjoy the races, they can't. I already have my tickets for the April race, and I can hardly wait.

Nice work, these are not your typical shots that you would see in National Dragster, way to get creative.

Matt,

Those shots are Awesome! I love the processing on the first one but my favorite by far is the last picture. GREAT!



Here's a few that I took the last time the NHRA came through Denver. It's definately a pain shooting from the stands...





I know this one is way blurry but for some reason I think it still looks cool.

I have tried to get into one of those vest and it is just about impossible......& I was a top fuel crew chief for 7 years!!!!
