Default Neon Signs - 2 pics (Small)

I took these at the Mills here in STL. They are handheld at 1/15. I need to get them a little sharper, but what do you think of these:

I took it and copied the layers. Then I cut out and erased the area around the sign. Finally I just put it on top of the original layer (that I made Black and White btw) and got that. It is most likely the hardest way to do it, but it works.

another way to paint black and white in PS is to use a brush and select 'colour' from the brush blending mode this desatures the images. or you can draw a selection round the thing you want to remain colour, invert the selection and hit Ctrl+Shift+U. Great shot by the way
