Two more from the Greenwich & Docklands International Festival. There were a lot of 50Ds around, more than 40Ds and 60Ds, but I suppose that's to be expected.

I was snapping a normal photo of my mother in law taking photos, but then this horse suddenly jumped in the frame. Even taunting me by sticking its tongue out.

The iPad shots are awesome
We all know that PC users would never do something like that All the shots below are over 3yrs old I kinda regret that I brought a 40D that day when my friend here were shooting with a compact. ![]() A pro in action. I was a total newbie back then and never thought I would one day own the very same lens this guy was using ![]() ![]() ![]()

My friend is a professional Micheal Jackson impersenator and he was the pause entertainment during a street dance battle last friday. Saw quite alot of cameras there, I brought my Sigmalux and the cheapo L (70-200f4).
Figured he would be glad if I got some pics for facebook. The bloke sitting next to me on the stands had a 5dmk2 and the 24-70. Still wondering if he got any OK pics since I had problems filling the frame with the 70-200 but he seemed cool albeit he was sporting the regular strap(teh horror). I glanced a 70-200 f4 non IS among the stands, and there was the event photographer at the front of the stage shooting with a EF-S lens and either a 7d/xxd/ or xxxd. I wish I was as pro as that guy in the way he handled himself, he was quite invicible and really nice! And then there was this guy that barraged onto the stage with his rebel shooting continously only to switch to video and then circle the dancers. So I thought to myself, this guy is a POTNer.

Anyone going to the last shuttle launch should be able to get some really nice photos for this thread... I wish I could go. It will be a very cool event to photograph.

His foot/leg is in focus. The gull is out of focus meaning the gull is quite a ways behind the man.

This guy was at the Canada Day celebrations at London's Trafalgar Square on Friday 1st July. I'd be interested to see how his shots came out; and not just because he'd been drinking beer... That's a Holga 120GN, by the way.
![]() Also at the Canada Day celebrations, this guy was either an official photographer or one of the press photographers. Or just a guy with a shedload of money. Or a shedload of equipment and no money... ![]()
