Default Walden Preserve

I had the opportunity to visit a preserve in a nearby town, that is somewhat famous for its abundance of butterflies and birds. Mostly meadows with shoulder high grasses and weeds, and loaded with wild flowers. I found a lot more butterflies than I was able to capture. Thought I'd share some of what I found.

Least Skipper (Ancyloxpha numitor)

Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus)

Little Wood-satyr

Ebony Jewelwing (Calopteryx maculata)

tattered American Lady (Vanessa virginiensis)

Cabbage White (Pieris rapae)

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus)

Dragonfly

beautiful Demoiselle and Dragonfly. Some of the images have a slightly glazed finish - is this something you did in PS?
