Why would it be softer on a cropped body than FF?

Alex, your newborn shots are very special, how long have you been doing them? Love the sepia tone conversion, gives them a very nice mood...

The weather has been rough here for quite a while. I've been itching to get out and play with this amazing lens, but the oppertunities to shoot something interesting haven't come up yet.
Awsome DOF and Bokeh on this lens. ![]() 100 % crop ![]()

Recieved my 'Lux today right before I had to leave for work. So far my "used" demo condition lens from Adorama needs +13-20 MA on my 5DII but that's only in non-controlled testing for 30 minutes. I'll have to see how I can send it to Sigma for calibration.

TWINS! ![]() ![]() And an awesome new little family... ![]() ![]() (all with Sigma 50mm. Most of the series is @ f/1.6 but for these with more than 2 in the frame, I've stopped down to 2.5. All lit with Kacey Beauty Dish and liberal use of LR's spot adjustment and gradients.)

Great shots again Hoff.
For those of you who've had to send in your lens for focusing problems, did you have to include the warranty card?

I sent mine, but the people at C.R.I.S. said I didn't really have to. They're very nice to deal with. |

Love mine so far. I've done a +15 MA, and I still feel like I'm missing focus every once in a while. But part of the problem is that I'm working with a DOF of millimeters at f/1.4 and a subject 2 feet away. When I stop down or I back away the focus seems to hit consistently.

Maybe you just have to get used to the Sigma HSM, it's a little different than other USM's^^^
