Thought I'd reply as noone else has. To me it is just a lamp on a table that is slightly blurred. If you are trying to get an 'still life' of the lamp I would think that it in isolation with a plain background would work better.

I think the picture has some fine details in it. The 3 windows to the right of the lamp clearly need to be washed :P

Yea I agree with the white background, would make the map stand out more, cuz it looks like a nice lamp.

haha, thanks for the replies. I'm not even sure why I posted this photo. But ya, that window that looks like it needs to be washed probably does, but it also has a problem with moisture being caught in between the two layers or whatever.
