Padres vs Cardinals
Well not THOSE Padres and Cardinals! Second night of trying the * button for AF. A few comments as needed on each photo. EXIF attached. C&C appreciated.
1. Pitcher from behind 3B  2.  3. A dive and a block...This was from behind 3B and is a significant crop. I thought it cam out OK. As for the * button, I was able to turn lens to 1B guy, bang the button and hold and get decent focus although I don't think perfect.  4. Another * issue...seems I picked up focus on back of runner or else 2B man on ground when it would have been better on SS on bag. I think this is just a timing/experience issue.  5. Pitcher shot from inside dugout on 3B line  6. Another play at 2B this time with focus a bit better where it needed to be  7.  8. This kid is 16 and came in to close. He was playing as a "call up" from his usual Midget Premier team.
