ABRA is the division in which, the Unlimited's are classified as being part of.
APBA is the division in which you the have Powerboats.

They are not the same. The operate together, but also operate as separate entities.
Thanks James, thought i might have been crazy. (the sticker on my car said APBA)

Also thanks to everyone for the rescue shots. Love to see us/them in action.

Here are some from the weekend. Too bad we will have to wait until next year for the 100th year, but that was a good call by the race officials........

Great shots Tom, I thought they might of hit there but maybe it was the angle I was on. Could I ask what lens you where using, and the camera settings? That second shot is one of the best I've ever seen,,, ever. Cheers

Best In Show Series...!!!

Spent most of my life in Detroit and I'm ashamed to admit I never made it down to the river to see this event in person.

Nice effort by all...

Awesome shot of Steve David driving Oh Boy Oberto/ Miss Madison. I tried finding some low angle places at Madison, to get a shot like this, but it's not very easy on the Ohio River.

Did anyone talk to the Nikon Shooter, using D3's and a 600/4. His name is Peirce Williams. He shoots for powerboat magazine, and shoots Nascar/IRL stuff. I caught a glimpse of him in the shot, with all the shooters in the corral. He was the only bald man, using a 600/4.
