My neighbors and I are doing a page for a dog calendar and I have been voted as the photographer (since I have the nicest camera).
So, any hits on how to get 4 dogs to sit quitely and pose?

Well what I do is, first I get the dog to sit, and well...try to tell him to stay and I hold like a piece of cheese on top of my camera or something like that.

Let them play for a while first, don't bring them together and expect them to sit still right away. then by all means bribe them with their favorite treats and toys.

1) Introduce and bring the dogs together slowly. Do not get them all worked up unless you want that.
2) you want them to sit ... get that shot last! When they are * more* tires they will eventually want to sit/lay down. 3) Let hem act natural. Let them play ... shoot those. 4) When all else fails, peanut butter on a treat. and remember ... you must stay CALM, you must not get FRUSTRATED, you must act in charge or the dogs will simply cause chaos. You are very lucky. Have fun with it! ![]() ![]() ![]()

The best way is to drain the majority of their energy if possible, where you can, get them to play - even for a few hours. Excercise may also be of use.
Get them to sit & stay all in one group. It might help to have a group of people (even the owners) to stand by for encouragement to obey orders. Most importantly: As a difficult task, be very patient. Good luck, I'm interested in the turnout
