Default More from the runway...

So I posted my first shots a few days ago here with my 70-200L f/4 IS. Since then, I was fortunate to add a 100-400L IS to my already heavy bag. I'm actually amazed at the lens, but still need some help in composition and pp.

5 This one is straight out of the camera, no crop, no pp. Can someone give me some ideas on pp?

As always, C&C (good AND bad) is appreciated!

Nice shots. For some of them, some contrast tinkering (levels, curves etc.) and sharpening should give an instant improvement.

Nice shots, 2-4 have a greenish hue to them that can easily be fixed up in PS

Simply, start with making the clouds white (contrast) Layer> New Adjustment Layer / Levels. Why Adjustment Layer? Post #9:
Airport runway shoot
Save it as a tiff or psd.
Crop it: Try to leave more room at the front for it to "move into": MOVE YOUR FEET! A <rant> of sorts.
Resize.
Use the PLT to select near the AC & try Filter > Unsharp mask set at 100 0.8 1 & see how it looks.
PLT: Selecting areas in PS.
Use Save AS, pick jpg & save it to keep the EXIF intact.
Once you get used to it, it should take about 2-3 minutes. Have fun!

Thanks for the tips. So much information here. If I only knew what I was looking for... I could search for it. LOL
