Default BIF-Black Crowned Night Heron

I captured this BCNH sneaking into it's nest one morning. As most of you know they are very shy and will try to avoid any human contact.

Two of the best BCNH in flight shots I've seen. You nailed these Jeff, congrats and great work.

I just wish this one would have been a bit sharper. I love the angle and composition. It is one of those almost...could have been shots.

I shot these images on a different day so I am not sure if it is the same bird. There are two different breeding pairs that I have seen in this particular rookery. They are extremely wary and hard to capture with a camera.

Thank you all for the C&C...

I've been driving myself nuts trying to get a grasp on shooting birds in flight. These are wonderful. If you don't mind me asking, which lens did you use, and what were the settings? (or is there somewhere this info. is shown that I haven't discovered yet?)
