Nice shots there. 2 seems a bit out of place - its not a flattering image to the player, as he has his eyes closed and his marker down (enough where he isn't laning). Compare that to #4, where he is alert and ready to go. Much better photo in my opinion.

I want to make this into a sig quote so bad... I really enjoy #3. You could definitely sell that to DYE as a stock photo. Its amazing.

The PP reminds me a lot of Nosey's work, but for these pics, I don't really seem to care for it at all.
I think I'd like the originals better

Was thinking that too. I notice a lot of pb photographers are curving their PP and framing after that style now.
As per the composition, I guess it all depends what you're trying to capture out there. We all do different things with this sport, but my 2 cents would be to capture a bit more 'action'.

I guess Im your biggest fan then. I really love #3, there's so much intensity that I guess you can only know if you've been in that spot. Again, great shots.

Costa,
I think the problem is that the PP and framing of that shot don't neccesarily convey the intensity for #3 - I'm a player as well, and I understand how intense that moment is. The photo, however, needs to convey the intensity to anyone, though. I already said that I like the shots.

Who cares about anyone else? The only people who really get anything from these are other paintball players, so I still think the images work.

I get "things" out of other sports that I don't play, I'm sure there are non-players who enjoy paintball photography as well...
