Here is a baby photo I took last night at my Daughter's house. The baby belongs to my daughter's best friend. :)

This baby is so cute and easy to photograph that I couldn't resist taking a ton of photos:

she is very cute indeed. may consider taking some pictures close to a window without a flash. mount your 70-200 lens, set the mode to Av, dial down to F4, and set the iso so that you are having shutter speed of 1/100 of second or faster. alternatively, seriously consider investing in a flash, so you can use bounce flash. your baby will thank you for it, and the images well look much nicer.

Adorable baby indeed. I agree in investing in a flash. I just got one yesterday & with only one day of practicing with it I can already see a huge difference. :)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. :) The baby is not mine or my Daughter's; she is my daughter's Best Friend's baby and she lives in South Carolina.

I already have a Canon flash, an off camera bracket, etc.; but we were all sitting at the dining room table when the photo oppertunity came up, so in tight quaters I had to improvise.

I tried to blurr out the back round so that just the baby was in focus. All my shots were taken from a distance of about 2 to 2 1/2 feet due to the crowded conditions at the table.

I would love to really take some time with that baby to really use the features of my equipment, but sadly they leave today to go back to South Carolina. :(
