Not sure if this has been mentioned or posted before but I thought this looked interesting. Looks as if Canon really is trying to be innovative after all....

Engadget had featured that earlier today. Not worth it. Fuel cells produce heat, and lots of it. Sensors like cold. Hence fuel cell cameras will be more of a gimmick than a real improvement. My MKIII already gets 5000 shots to the battery, that's more than 75gb worth of photos when shooting indoor sports. Why would I need more than that? I don't even have close to 75gb worth of memory cards

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

People patent a lot of ideas that will never make it into production.
I think this is one of those ideas.

Maybe not approved but a "patent application" according to the article.

What is the point? How would it be of any use or advantage? Where the hell are you going to get your Hydrogen and Oxygen refilled?

I think it is a joke ...... a gag .......... They are probably just pulling your leg.......
I doubt it is feasible or even possible.....

Look at this diagram. It was obviously not drawn by anyone at Canon or anyone who knows a thing about DSLR cameras.

Maybe it will be a Honda/Canon joint venture. Save the environment Canon, save it... 30,000 sales = one SUV off the road

This is more than likely one of those misinformation campaigns - later when noikn comes out with the real thing Canon will have a good laugh having misled the competition to release a dud.
