Default New ThinkTank products?

From a recent ThinkTank Photo newsletter:

Quote:
We recently ran the Test Drive program for our Hydrophobia™ 300-600 rain cover, which resulted in a significant number of people asking us to design an entirely new product. The good news is that we'll be announcing this new product next month. (See: we really do listen!)
I wonder what the changes will be

My guess would be a smaller version that works for something up to a 70-200. Thats what i asked them when i sent them my comments. All of the other companies that make weather proof covers make them in smaller versions.

And I told them to make a cover and waterproof attachement point for a flash. Heck Aquatech does it and it works. That and the lack of a design that takes into account the 100-400 are the only two design drops I've ever seen them do.

Yes indeed, thats the other thing, flash compatibility and also pocketwizard compatibility would be perfect on a smaller version of the rain cover.

Also judging by the "while stocks last" 30% discount on the Airport Acceleration and Airport Ultralite that was posted on the Think Tank site this morning....can we expect to see upgraded versions of these bags too?

Other than the Think Tank system, which companies are out there. I am currently looking for something for my 40d and 70-200. I did a few Google searches but didn't come up with much. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !!

The most popular rain cover out there at the moment is the Aquatech . http://www.aquatech.com.au/

But i would urge you to wait and see what ThinkTank comes out with in the next couple of weeks. The Think Tank Hydrophobia seemed to be considerably better than the Aquatech equivalent in my opinion so i would imagine the new TT product will be just as great.
