taken at night at the plant the camera was new and I had to play with it

very nice shot

is that asphalt 'smoke' coming out of the funnel ?

you caught the atmosphere well.
is this a place for stuff which is used for doing the roads ,
like tarmacadam is used over here ?

This shot is really neat looking! It kind of reminds me of painting with light that another photog that I know of does with a film camera. GREAT job!

The "smoke" is mostly steam although you should see the state of the cars in the carpark (dust and grit). Yes asphalt is used to pave roads I think tarmac is another term for the same product. I have more good (I think) photos of the laying process.
