Default Just out of curiosity, what lens in Olympics?

Any idea about what is the most widely used LENS in Beijing Olympics?

For sport in general, 300/2.8 and 400/2.8 are most used lenses. Since shooting Olympics is about same as shooting World Championships and World Cups, I would say that it's same there too. But it depends from sport to sport and from venue to venue.

I'd agree. I see a lot of 300/2.8s in use in the indoor venues (swimming, gymnastics) and the cozy venues like beach volleyball, though I have seen some 600mm shots coming from the water cube.

You will see 400/2.8, 500/4s and 600/4s a lot for track and field starting this weekend.
