My father has a Speedlite 300EZ. I don't have a multimeter handy, so I'm not about to mount it on my drebel just yet. But does anyone have this unit? Should hold me over until I get a 420EX or 500DG Super...

300EZ? You will find it unproductive. If you shoot strictly in manual mode, it may possibly work, but you will have no ETTL at all.
For a camera like yours, you want any -EX flash. ---Bob Gross--- |

Hm. I just found it lying in a closet so I figured why not. Has anyone tried hooking it up to a drebel? I mean this thing is at least 15y/o!
I do shoot strictly in manual.. is it worth a shot?
