Default First real non-people shot in years.

I wouldn't consider myself someone with an eye for photography when it comes to my natural environment. I lack focus and motivation to do so, because I enjoy capturing people so much more. But I was out today and decided to force myself to take some shots. So... This doin' anything for anyone? Don't feel obligated to be polite.

First one is a nice idea, but the bokeh really is not agreeing with me. Second one is doing nothing for me.

I actually like the second one much better, fallen rose bloom. Good for you to venture out of that comfy zone every once in a while.

Maybe it's just me, but the sign in the first one seems very slightly out of focus?

I like the framing in the second one!

Both Images: too saturated and too much sharpening. The sharpening should have been applied selectively rather than globally because sharpening and bokeh go together like oil and water.

Second Image: Lack of good dynamic range (too dark). The wilted rose in the picture besides being too dark does not tell me anything about the composition.
