Default For those with a great deal of gear :: HOW do you store it?

I've reached the point where I need shelves, a cabinet, or some way to safely store gear.

Can anyone share ideas (or photos) of how they organize and store gear?

When I became a MOD POTN bought me a vault!

I store all my gear in my bags. I plan to build a cabinet that sits next to my desk for it though at some point. Lockable, so the kids can't play in it.

I'm fortuneate enough to have a spare room that I have put shelves in and store most of my gear separately on that. When it is time to go shooting I pack a bag with the items that I will need.

I keep a standard set of gear in one bag that I can grab and run. I had a new heavy duty door with lock installed. I try to keep all of the gear out of sight unless I really want someone to see it.

I use a three-shelf cabinet with glass doors that came from Ikea.

Doesn't stay as organized as I'd originally planned but it keeps things out of the way.

Kitchen cupboards, between the cereal and the biscuits.

Ditto on the gun safe. Guns and camera gear are kept locked up

I have considerably less gear, but do very much the same thing.
Some purpose built shelves in the cupboard in a spare room, and most commonly used gear kept in the gear bag.
