Hello!

We have for sure the -= Archive EF 300mm f/2.8L post shots with T-Cons too!

But, we don't have an thread for pictures taken with the 300/2.8L non-IS lens!

Sooo, post your pictures taken with this lens! Shots taken with TCs are welcome too, but the lens has to be the 300/2.8L without IS.

The 300 non-is is an incredible lens that always gets overlooked. Here are a few pictures I took last summer on safari while I was in South Africa. All of these images were taken with a 2x tc in attached to the the lens.

The 300/2.8L non IS is a brilliant lens, Very fast auto focusing and super sharp. I rate the quality from mine better than my 400/2.8L IS. This shot was taken with 1.4TC added

These two images alone were enough to convince me to have a serious look at this lens. Thanks...

This thread is a little sparse... I picked up one of these lenses last week and tried some stacked TC shots to see how the camera handled. These are taken with 1D mkIII with 2x AND 1.4x... 840mm F8. The autofocus hunted slightly but still locked on very well.
