Default Croft - Norther Saloons, Mazda MX5s and Legends 30th Oct

Popped down to Croft on Saturday. Only managed to bump into Simon before I was asked to help one of the Northern Saloon Cars guys for a tow as his car would not start so didn't get to take as many photos as I wanted.

At least it stayed dry for a change.

So hear they are:

The Z Cars Mini were fun to watch and quick

The Legends were out also and although very colourful not very interesting to watch

The usual Caterham and Westfields were out including Phil Morris and Geoff Cooper. Geoff had just gone to the other side having owned a Hyabusa Westfield and now owning a 300BHP Duratec Caterham. Bit of a learning curve and the handling charateriestics are quite a bit different. He complained about horrendous oversteer but at least he finished.

The Mazdas always provide exciting and close racing

Plus there were one or two BMWs

Feedback is welcomed

Good stuff Peter, I like these a lot although some of the colours are just a touch 'in yer face' if you know what I mean.

In teresting to hear Geoff reporting oversteer - He seemed to have the opposite problem down at Sunny Out, with visibly more lock on the car than anyone else.

Simon.

I am wondering if one of the reason is I used Lightroom to convert from RAW to JPEG and usually use RawShooter.

Just done a test and lightroom seem to add somit all I have done is cropped, no PP

This is Lightroom:

This is RawShooter:

Nice selection Peter, surprised I didn't see you there. The 2 photos you have posted converted with lightroom and rawshooter, on my monitor the lightroom room looks the better of the two the rawshooter one looks a bit flat.

Cheers
Ian

If you compare the green flag and the number 69 car in those two shots you can see that "Lightroom" is giving more colour saturation.

Sorry I missed you Ian

Hmmmmmm

Simon suggested the colours were wrong which I agreed with, ie too much saturation. They were done using lightroom. Swiss Toni seems to agree that Lightroom gives more saturation and then I added some to the origional pics. I did not add any the second time and they were processed from RAWs converted using RAWShooter.

Not quite sure what to mae of it

Forgot to add, I prefer the "Lightroom" sample.
