I'm speechless Marie, probably just as well, only cause there's so much I could say about those to photos together. LIke bring along your used bra to the private function area. OK so I couldn't help my self. Bagged SWIMWEAR?

ha ha haha

I think the bagged swimwear must mean 'stuffed'

thanks Sandy .

I was taking a short cut through there
the buzz bar must have been right beside the bra bar (I forget every detail)
because in the exif details the times difference ... well, there is none
it's the same... even to the second
** how could that be

I took the shots real quick
but... that quick ?

later edit
** (see below
got it sorted )

it was an alley type of back street
and a few funny places were all together

hard to believe this Sandy but...... guess who passed by as I came out of a street in that town ?

the man I shot a while ago .

seen on this thread >

http://www.photography-on-the.net/fo...ad.php?t=54245

and he was on a bicycle
I was so gobsmacked to see him again and especially on the bike

I had not got my camera out when I saw him this time
he was in the same coat and rode past me fairly fast
as I turned out of a street

so I fumbled with the camera bag as quick as I possibly could
and snapped out the camera and just about got the back of him as he rode into the 'sunset'
never to be seen again

hope you enjoy that story.
I was thrilled to see him again
(and wanted to show the evidence with a picture)

the other shot is taken in the alley (traffic jam) beside the buzz place
refreshments on the move

theres a saying over here
' don't forget your shovel if you want to go to work'

Well Good afternoon Marie (your time, moring here) Great catch on of the man on the bike. neat when things like that happen. That second photo you just posted, all I can say is "mighty tight fit on that narrow street"

this was over two weeks later and many miles between us (back and forth)
and there the man was
as though he and I were in a time zone and he was just a bit further down the street then in the previous pictures.

at least we know that he is ok, looked very happy and not suffering

it was his trousers and socks tucked into bicycle clips (or just his trousers tucked into his socks) which made me think he must have got off a bike

as I do it myself on the bicycle at times
(tucked jeans into socks)

forgot to say good morning
it's very early there

and ps
there's a few bashed up looking vehicles on the right of that street picture

Cool Re: buzzing off down a side street

I got it slightly wrong

saw the two 43's on the exif details
and I thought they were the same amount of seconds

but there are a few more seconds between the shots

bra shop

buzz bar

These photos are a real hoot. I also like the shot of the man on the bike. Lots of good color.

Ha! The first one has me laughing. Nice shots Marie.

I really like seeing these "slice of life" shots. You have a great eye!

Marie - I'd be careful of that guy in the overcoat, sounds like a stalker to me Makes me wonder what he was leering at in the earlier shot "Looking into the darkness".

What a deal on the bras!
What do they do with the turn-ins?

I think we need a little more research on the Buzz Bar. How about getting into the "Private Function" area and taking a few shots. You can't leave us in the dark.

Nice bit of street photography, Marie.

the bra shop was not near him in that shot

but it was near where he went flying down the street on that bicycle

I wondered too

maybe turn them inside out and recycle them

or use them for 'bird hammocks' ?

it's not my town
so I wouldn't be there when a function is on.

you shall stay in the dark .

be thankful

Nice bit of street photography, Marie.

Jim

thanks Jim
