Default Iconic Shakespearean Scenes

I met with two couples yesterday to take some themed shots.

We were recreating iconic Shakspearean scenes, using minimal props and it was a lot of fun. Not a lot of high-art, but a good time anyway.

MacBeth where the king speaks with the ghost, Banquo and the witches look on (shot in 3 frames, then melded. The third witch is also the "ghost")

Midsummer's Night Dream where Hermia naps in the bushes, Lysander and Demetrius argue nearbye and Puck looks on in amusement

The seminal Hamlet scene where he and Horatio exhume the body of the fool(with the help of the gravedigger)

Romeo and Juliet, the final act in two triptychs

Othello in 3 sets. The first in which Iago steals the handkerchief from Desmodona, Othello recovers the handkerchief and then in a fit of rage, strangles Desmodona

Othello stumbles from his apartment, horrified at what he has done, Iago calls for the guard and accuses his rival, they fight

Othello defeats Iago, Iago's wife Emilia denounces him, Iago stabs his wife. Othello returns to his love and takes his own life.

Last one is Merchant of Venice in which Shylock tries to decide where he will exact his pound of flesh from Antonio while Portia looks on in horror and Tubal with glee.

Like I said, no high-art or even fantastic photography involved, just a lot of fun.
