I have a 24-105L 450D now. I was planning to get a dedicated portraits lens. Which one would i go for.

well.. the 24-70 would seem a little redundant? i would go with the 85.. it is a beautiful lens, and has produced fabulous images.

Given that you already have a 24-105 I'd go for the 85mm. It'll be fairly tight on a 450D, though, I wouldn't be looking to do full-length portraits with it unless you have a lot of room...
