Default Jakarta Panorama - Panorama Factory

Thought I'd try a panorama of Jakarta using Panorama Factory V5.2. What an awesome program. Here's the pic;

Awesome, shame about the pollution.
Where did you shoot this from?

From the roof of the parking area at ITC Kuningan. If it was a stormy night with lightning around this would be an awesome and safe location to photograph a storm.

Yes it's a pity about the pollution but I guess that comes with the Territory. The country can do something about it but they have to want to and that's where the problem lies.

Indonesia really needs to be more tourism friendly because it has a lot to offer but the pollution, transport, people's lack of local knowledge about their country, traffic and poor road conditions makes it rather difficult.

The two things that Indonesia need to get better at which would benefit the economy is tourism and sport.

The next picture is Monas, the National Monument. It looks nice on it's own but look around and it's a mess, which is a real pity. I was hassled by locals and didn't feel safe with my gear, once again it could be much better but here's the pic;

It's great, especially the lighting and the haze/smog.

being hassled by locals is another negative for tourism in Indonesia.
I find just shoot a sentence or two back at them in bahasa.. keeps them quite and they will leave you alone..
