Default Apple Cinema Display - Can I use on my PC?

I think It's the time to invest in a good monitor (I'm tired of the cheap lcds), and I was wondering about the Apple Cinema Display 20"...

Is this the best of the best on the budget? Will it work on my PC (Dvi / VGA)? (I don't know the heck about macs, neither their VGA connection)

Thanks

Yes, you can use them on PC's.

Check out TFTCentral they have reviews of displays that might be of interest... 20in would be a bit small for editing, 24" is what a lot of people are using now.

That said there shouldn't be a issue with the Mac display on a PC but Apple being Apple they may have modified some hardware.

I have the 20" Apple and find it fine for editing. Little confused by that the being too small. It evenly lite from corner to corner with no dark spots. A flaw that's often seen in the cheaper LCD's.

Do purchase a calibration kit for accurately profiling the color.
