I think It's the time to invest in a good monitor (I'm tired of the cheap lcds), and I was wondering about the Apple Cinema Display 20"...
Is this the best of the best on the budget? Will it work on my PC (Dvi / VGA)? (I don't know the heck about macs, neither their VGA connection) Thanks |

Check out TFTCentral they have reviews of displays that might be of interest... 20in would be a bit small for editing, 24" is what a lot of people are using now.
That said there shouldn't be a issue with the Mac display on a PC but Apple being Apple they may have modified some hardware. |

I have the 20" Apple and find it fine for editing. Little confused by that the being too small. It evenly lite from corner to corner with no dark spots. A flaw that's often seen in the cheaper LCD's.
Do purchase a calibration kit for accurately profiling the color.
