These are some pictures I took earlier this evening with my new Alien Bees. Still learning lighting with these. I have always used Continuous lights and these are so different from what i am use to. but i LOVE them. These pictures are a little grainy due to resizing on photobucket. But not too awful bad i dont think.

I only purchased an AB 800 and an AB 400. And using a couple of reflectors. For the white background I am using one pointed directly toward the background with a reflector on the opposite side. and then im using main light with a reflector on other side as well. |

Great Shots. My only question is this; were these sharpened at all? I'm wondering because of the little boys skin - I'd soften it a tad.
I took a trip to portraiture and softened a bit. Hope you dont mind the edit. 8b9ecb42 copy.jpg

Looks good.. what are you using for the reflective flooring. plexiglass or some sort of tileboard?
