Default New Alien Bee lights, New pictures! C&C Welcome.
These are some pictures I took earlier this evening with my new Alien Bees. Still learning lighting with these. I have always used Continuous lights and these are so different from what i am use to. but i LOVE them. These pictures are a little grainy due to resizing on photobucket. But not too awful bad i dont think.

I only purchased an AB 800 and an AB 400. And using a couple of reflectors. For the white background I am using one pointed directly toward the background with a reflector on the opposite side. and then im using main light with a reflector on other side as well.

Great Shots. My only question is this; were these sharpened at all? I'm wondering because of the little boys skin - I'd soften it a tad.

I took a trip to portraiture and softened a bit. Hope you dont mind the edit.

I dont mind the edit at all, good job. He has baby acne a little (we are guessing that is what it is) his face is real rough feeling in spots. it showed up really bad in the photos.

Looks good.. what are you using for the reflective flooring. plexiglass or some sort of tileboard?
