Do you know of an Airshow, Fly In, Air Museum or Airport that would make for a great day of photography?

Municipal airports often have "Airport Day" or a weekly pancake breakfast or afternoon BBQ where the occasional Antique, Classic or even Warbird might show up? Some have even been known to give rides. Got one near you?

Share this and similar info with like-minded POTN members and let's keep the Aviation representation going strong over in Transportation...

not sure the origins of this map, but there are public viewing carparks labelled 3 & 4(that are likely to be very busy on the day)

Really good views of arriving a/c when the winds are coming from the west, and departing a/c when blowing the other way.

The weather is suppose to be rather overcast tomorrow, so we'll see what kind of results I can get.

Used to be when I was a student pilot. Only have 18 hours left for my private rating. I'll join back up when that's done. Even though I started 18 years ago. Such a procrastinator, huh! According to my wife, once I finish nursing school, I WILL complete my rating.
