Default Site suggestion. VB code related.

There is a forum I am on where we build and share simple flash games. There is a feature in the VB code where we can hide links and text from non members. This prevents thieves or non members from grabbing the links and passwords we post to our game file downloads.

If you will see I posted a simi highres image to dl for editing in this thread. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...3&postcount=12 I would like the [hide]insert text, url etc.[/hide] to be added to the vb code the site uses. I think this would be a valuable addition and would provide members with some sense of security when posting links to downloadable high resolution images.

Again its just a thought and I respect your decisions. Thanks for your time.

From a brief search, the [hide] tag appears to be a vBulletin "hack" and not a supported tag.

Pekka's said in the past that he won't be adding hacks to the system as they may introduce stability and/or security risks. Therefore, we're running an unmodified forum.

I did not know it was a hack. I know very little about php and vb code so It was just a guess.
