Was at my hometown fair and took these handheld with the stock lens on my Digital Regel. Would liked to have had my Tamron 28-75 2.8 and a tripod.

Please let me know what you think.

I just noticed I posted these in the wrong thread. Sorry about that--should have read what goes in each better.

Also, 85 looks and no comments??? I can take what ever you have to say...this is how I learn.

I think for the lense you had you did a great job. Maybe like you say with the
85mm you could have shot a few close-up tight cropped more artsy pics, but these
two are really nice.....

Oh yeah, who is that anyway?

have you tried running these through some noise reduction software? First one especially would improve with some treatment.

Thanks for the feedback. This is the country singer, Jimmy Wayne. I will also run them through a noise reduction software to get rid of the noise. I agree this would help.

Rodbunn....when you talk close...how close are you talking and do you have any examples?

With an outdoor night concert what ISO do you all shoot at?

How do these look?
