Default How About a BIG POTN picnic?

Once a year at different locations (states, counrties) so everyone can be apart of it. If everyone cant join in we could have multiple picnics in different areas on the same date. Kind like a POTN appreciation day, where we get together with like minded individuals shoot and share ideas AND EAT.

I figure its to late for this year but if we start setting this up now for next year it could be something special to remember and look forward to every year.

Just a thought, let me know if anyone is interested.

Post in this thread PM me PM each other lets get the ideas going

You know that doesn't sound like a bad idea.. I think that would be great. WE could possibly have POTN chapters around the country in areas. Then hold like Chapter meets or something.

Well, I think A) that its already going on October and picnic season is far over and B) no one wants to take charge of organizing something this Big. It will be extremely hard to put a massive get together while, most people are busy with their own work. If things were already setup this thread will be much more active.

This cant be the case, people here always put together meetups with 5-30 persons.

Im just suggesting that one day next year we try and do the meets the same day or week even. Like a POTN week shoot.

I will go to the threads of the different cities and towns meetups and invite the orginizers to see if we can get the ball rollong a bit.

We could call it "The Day POTN Stood Still"

Ok, this is actually great u stopped by. Since you guys meet on a regular, your my inside guy

I will find others who meet as well here in Chicagoland area and try to get a rough date for next year.

Maybe I should add a poll of POTNers that meet regularly already?.

It would almost have to be a convention.

The First Great POTN Convention.

In LA.

At LR's house.

Oh, wait, I mean in the desert.

Thats kinda what I was thinking, but if others couldnt travel they could have various meets (in their cities) that same day.

This is after all a photography site and for one day we should all get out and shoot and gather

We could see if we could get some speakers (i.e. Frank D, Aztech, Mike Fulton, Jason Cole, David Hobby etc.)

From this event could spark POTN seminars, with different speakers and activities (i.e. PS CS3 workshop, Portrait Workshop etc.)

Ok im jumpin the gun a bit, I will slow down
