Default Anna's Hummingbird

I moved my hummingbird feeder to the corner of the porch this afternoon. I was hoping for some 'red colors', but maybe next time.

Amazing that at 1/1250 the wings are still blurred.

No amount of shutter speed can freeze a hummingbird's wings - high-speed flash is the only thing that will do it.

Nice image! You need to get them head on for the iridescence.

Great shot as usual Mike. I can't seem to get hummers right. Did you use fill flash at all?

No flash on this one, but I have used flash and sometimes a silver or gold reflector in the past.

~Thanks for looking!
