Default Out of my comfort zone

Usually my work flow consists of bumping the saturation and contrast (even when it is not needed) because I love the vibrant colors and pop. However today I stepped out of my comfort zone and desaturated the photos I am not entirely sure I like them. Something is just screaming at me to pop that color, but I am trying to be versatile.
Here are some examples. Let me know what you think. I have also added some BW versions (which I like better because there is no color to worry about LOL)

I like 3 and 4. I think I'm not too fond of the first pose. But I like the coloring on the last two.

I forgot all about this post LOL sorry. I used a large soft box for Key and two lights pointed towards the backdrop with shoot through umbrellas.
Pretty standard set up.

Thanks everyone for your comments
