Default Some formula ford, continental pics

Hey guys

Well they where at Pocono and I don't have a long lens so I had to make due. I think i got some pretty decent pics. I was standing 10 feet from part of a small straight. My settings where Tv mode. shutter 1/100. i felt any slower would give me more shake. If i had a long lens i would not have to pan as much to keep up resulting in better focus im assuming?

My first try at this also. These are not edited at all, straight from the camera.

Sorry for the dirt on the lens, i never saw that through the viewfinder until now . Ill have to edit it somhow.

Looks like dirt on the sensor

Try and stand more side on when you press the shutter release, you will find it much easier. 1/100 is also very difficult, try 1/250 or 1/200 first.

If these were 1/100 you didnt do too badly.

Thanks, yea these where 1/100. I thought 1/200 would give that movimg motion so that's why i did it low. This was a private race so i was able to be down by the track.
