Not the best weather forecasted for the first half of the weekend so it gives me some time to work on some images. These may look similar to recent posts but they're not...it's what you get when you take 5-6 shots in a row of a subject that may or may not move much.
I'm mainly concentrating on the PP aspect on these after getting some critique from some recent posts. ![]() I tired a horizontal crop with this one...not sure I like it or not but sometimes it's nice to see the environment along with the subject. ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking and comments/critique are always welcomed. Duane

For me to get close I have to go up to WA 800 miles away! Great shots and expressions BTW. Really like #3, boy am I green with envy.... Darn it all anyway.... loads of birdy lenses now up sale I can quit now... (just kidding) Good job!!! |

I've always wanted to see/photograph a BE in the wild and wanted to plan a trip up North or to Alaska until a guy I work with said "Why do that, there's a nesting pair at Norfolk Botanical Garden for the last 4-5 years." I was like "Cool!".

All 3 look great Duane,
I think most of us might envy your easy access to these magnificent birds... I've never seen one up close like this. Hard to choose, but #3 would be my pick of this set. Kenn
