Default 3 in a bed

Ok guys

Seen this technique a few times before and thought i would give it my first bash.

Not perfect by a long shot but i was just after some general feedback and tips on completing these.

My initial thoughts are making sure i am looking in conjunction with other poses and a better subject area.....

Any other ideas or tips or examples appreciated.

Interesting idea - The middle figure appears a bit 'stuck-on' but I've now idea how to improve on that really as I'm not brilliant at complex PP.

Good effort...very well done with the overlapping of them (much harder than what I've done.) I find it more effective when you change clothes between poses, though. I've only done this once. During the '05 Playoffs...Steelers vs. Bengals (on the way to the SB XL victory):

Those are cool. Looks like it would be hard to do though.

Easy, easy easy. Camera on tripod...manual exposure...take three shots, moving between each. Lay them on top of each other in photoshop, and delete the area covering the other people in the shots below. Since they're tripod mounted with the same exposure, everything else will line up perfectly.

Cheersguys - gonna have another play. I think the reason why the middle one looks outta placeis because i had my ass forward on the sofa. Good scope for some further play time this weekend i think.

Here's an example of one I did last year of my daughter. It took about 3 hrs for the shots, just because she got tired of me changing her, but it was well worth it for the final image. I took about 50-60 shots, but only used 14. Hope this gives you some ideas.

So what are the exact steps in photoshop for this...I get the basic's..layering them one on top of another, but what do you use to delete? Then do you combine all layers? Sorry for dumb question, but I see this trick all the time, and I just dont get how to put all the pictures together, would love some help on this..

The way I did was, put one photo over the other, used layer mask to bring back the background image, than flatten. Took the flattened image, moved it over my next image, used layer mask to bring back the new background image, flatten. Repeat until you get the images you want. I'm not sure if that's clear, but the main thing for me was using layer mask to bring new images into the flattened one.

royboy...yours is the absolute best of this type I've ever seen....I can't imaging how hard it was to get them masked such that it looked real. Very well done! (I also like how you can see that one of them has a full boat, while the other is holding quad 2s. )

I've always enjoyed playing with photos in this way.
Here is my first attempt at a "multiple personality self portrait"..
