Yes, I know... Its yet another Moon shot.. but I wanted to share this as its my best moon shot yet with my humble 70-300IS..

400D with 70-300 IS @ 300mm, 1/320, f/8, ISO 100, Manual focus, Hand Held

Its a 100% crop!

Thanks Brian.. my tripod is one of the cheapy ones... useless for a 300mm shot... I get better results hand held leaning against a wall or something
