wow. wish i could download it. More realistic application of the 5d for video than Vincent's video.
amazing night shots too. I've always wanted a camera that can record with low noise like that at night and dof at the same time. |

I wish the photo expo I had was in a more interesting location, I have a full 1080p clip from a preproduction model. (Focus didn't work because of TS-E 24L mounted)

There is nothing earth shattering to be seen here, but I continue to be convinced that without a steady tripod the potential quality is lost. Thanks for the link.

or IS. All the lenses he used were non-IS. still a great video nonetheless, shows what the 5D II offers in terms of lens creativity for video.

i doubt you can use IS in video. THe lens would probably catch fire after 12 minutes of recording.

Or a good weight screwed on underneath. (Move a camera around, then mount a monopod/folded tripod and move it again. It's steadier.)

What does that matter? You realize the shutter isnt being operated when video is being recorded, right?

I'm sorry, but I am completely impressed. On my 22 inch Samsung, it looks pretty darn wonderful. I'm getting the new camera if I can save up for it! But the video part is minor. The whole thing looks wonderful to me.

If you have the IS button switched to ON on the lens the IS is active the entire time video is shooting. I've read this numerous places, not the least of which is from page 123 of the 5D mII manual.
