I'm pretty sure this is my first post in this forum. It's weird, when I first got my 50D, I kept thinking I wanted to take food photos with it. I haven't really done much (none I really liked anyway).

However, we drove two hours to my sister-in-law's house yesterday, and she, my wife, and their mother made about 40 dozen tamales (one of my girls helped for a while too). I shot a few and kind of liked this one. I'm still very new to photography and don't know anything about post processing beyond the very basics in DPP. So, I really just cropped it, sharpened it a little, changed it to monochrome, and bumped the contrast +1.

This is my mother-in-law's hand, by the way.

That's a great shot IMO Jason. Those hands look like they'v been making some great food for many years.
