Macobee, I am really curious about the lighting of the cabbage shot. I looks like all natural light. Maybe a window camera right with a bare reflector camera left? The blue highlights on the leaves make me think this. Or did you use a really low-powered flash camera right to get the soft creamy colors of the head to stand out? I have to say that I really like that cabbage shot.

Hi Bowtie, that was 1 430EX through a shoot through umbrella slightly right and above the cabage.

Macobee, I really like the fishy dish. I like the angle and the plating of the fish. I also like your latest post, makes me thirsty. As a side note, I love Hong Kong. Is that 3rd drink (from the left), coconut milk with mangos in or something?

i have extracted the link and now see your image, i like it! and i really want to learn how to do shots with reflective surfaces, my problem is always i can see my whole room in the reflective surface, and not only the subject wanted. oh and welcome to POTN Last edited by macobee : 14th of November 2008 (Fri) at 05:56. |
