I'm wondering if there is a way to use my Novatron studio flash kit with my newer Sxi. I used to be able to attach a sync cord to my Nikon FM2 but I'm not seeing any place to do the same with my Canon. Any suggestions would really be appreciated!
Thanks |

Ok, maybe I'm getting anxious. Maybe no one knows the answer, but maybe someone knows where I might go to find it...maybe.

You can get a "Hot-Shoe to PC Adapter" for your XSi. Something like this:

PennySusan,
Welcome to POTN! Please be patient with us. Here's a hotshoe adapter that will work, from a vendor well-known and trusted by us here at POTN. http://flashzebra.com/hotshoes-shoes/0063.shtml Whenever you ask a "where can I buy?" type question, it's a good idea to tell us where you live. This is a world-wide forum, and many vendors only ship to certain countries.

lol...you guys got me there! I'm sorry that I sounded rushed. I guess I was a bit but it's ok. Did my shoot with ambient light and did some indoors using the model lights. Came out fine. I'll check out your suggestions. Thanks again!
