The noise seems a little bit high. Is it because of the compression or high Iso ?

How did you manage so little color noise at such a high ISO? You've got that wonderful B&W film grain instead of ugly color noise! Did you do any noise reduction?

Love almost everything about this one and I totally agree about the texture from the grain .. Keep It.

Only thing I'd play with would be the crop. Maybe square?

Not sure... I did do some noise reduction in PS.

I thought the photo already had a tight crop as captured, so never thought about cropping more, but a square crop might work better. I will give it a try, thanks
