Winter seemed to drag on an on this year , but summer's almost here and the bugs are starting to appear. Only problem is, the skills have dulled a little.
Might take a few macro shoots to get back in the groove.
These bees were moving around in my street a couple of weeks ago, funny to watch people walking by then freezing when they saw what I was pointing the camera at :)


First red cricket I've seen:

Still a bit cool , the jumping spiders seem to like a bit of body warmth:

They're Ok , did not quite nail the focus on these though. Posting , as 1) First young Mantids I've seen and 2) I spent 2 summers looking for Mantids , found 1 ooth , 1 mantid , 1 shell. First 2 quick outings this season , 1 yound mantid each time!
