Default photo mag?

My mother-in-law has offered to renew my subscription to pcphoto mag or subscribe to another photo mag. In my opinion, after getting a full year of pcphoto mag, this magazine is 75% advertising and probably 15% on real photo/pp techniques. Is pcphoto the best magazinge out there or do you have another preference?
65% of my shooting is HS sports. I use Aperture and PShop CS3 for PP.

C+C appreciated

I have subscriptions to Popular Photography, Shutterbug, and Digital Photo Pro. I also get Photoshop User Magazine (occasionally) and Photo Life (but I am pretty sure thats a Canadian only magazine).

Do a google search...theres alot of "top 10" lists and magazine reviews out there. Heres two:

Rangefinder and Professional Photographer always have good stuff in them. Business-wise and techniques. Good stuff. Shutterbug and any others I see are crap for me. Nothin but articles on useless garabge about this camera does this and it's right for you no matter what. They are so biased to their sponsors. haha

+1 for Shutterbug

Outdoor Photographer is another good one IMO.

If your in the U.S. theres a couple mags that have free subsciptions out there too if you do a search. Heres one for "After Capture". Rangefinder also had one a while back but not anymore....
