Wow, what lovely colours. Keep shooting as on the 30th they'll be really "close".

On December the first the moon will be in the frame as well, making for a potential great photo, and the first Monthly Challenge as set up by me!

I can't see any...unless you're referring to the stars?

There's a turquoise dot almost half-way in-between Venus and Jupiter.

Thanks for all the comments. December 1 is when the moon will join the two and they will all be close enough to fit into a 200mm frame. Great photo opportunity.

I dont think there are any hot-pixels, all those dots are visible stars

It's just that I've never seen a star with turquoise color... perhaps my monitor is off?

Sometimes stars appear turquoise or purple depending on the lens.

Apparently (and I get this from a good source) women come from Venus... and (get this) men come from Mars.

Personally, I come from Jupiter.

Nice second shot! I would be sorely tempted to clone out the lights in the treeline. Nice tasty colors.

I've really got to try and find me a good site with some interesting foreground where I can go to shoot Venus and Jupiter as they get closer and closer to each other. Lovely shot there with the Pier.

And for the record, I come from a planet somewhere in the Vicinity of Rigel.
