Default A compliant caterpillar

Don't often find largish caterpillars in my garden. This one was on the edge of a leaf ontop of my compost heap barely moving. Assume it should have already pupated. Took the opportunity to do some focus stacks on it. About 18mm long. Hadn't seen the hooks they have on their feet before

Thanks for the comments all

Mark - think it was either feeling the cold or trying to pupate. Yes well spotted- a mite and an oof barkfly in #1.
The mite was actually a complete pain - it ran up the side of the caterpillar whilst I was taking the stack shots so I ended up with multiple streak of bits of mite in the stacked shot.
