Nice work.
Most birds don't sit still long enough for us to notice the small details like the "eyebrow".

FYI, the photo has exif on it so if you use an exif viewer like Opanda, you can see that info.

Thanks rw, Liz and Jack I appreciate the comments.

rw...This was made from my kitchen window and that little bird bath is right on the other side of my driveway, I don't think she noticed me at all. If I would have been outside she would have been long gone.

Liz as many shots as I've made of these cardinals, this is the 1st time I've ever noticed their "eyebrow"...I guess I just haven't been paying attention.

Jack I used the 40D with the 100-400mmL lens.

Female cardinals can really vary in their plumage. Sometimes they have a lot of red and sometimes not. Probably sometimes the eyebrow isn't as noticeable because of that.
