AzzA, Great shot. And yes, I imagine the guy on the deck did come off pretty bad, but KUDOS to the rider of the white bike wearing the Prospeed jacket. Looks like he did quite a job to try to avoid running over the poor fellow on the deck. (Unless of course the next frame shows him laying the bike down on top of the poor fellows head...)

This was obviously on a track, but this photo shows exactly why I would never get on a bike anywhere without full protective gear on...

cheers guys. I'll try and answer a few questions ref the shot.

The guy in yellow is indeed wearing an orange vest - this indicates he is a rookie (less than 10 races or something like that).

The guy in blue on the left managed to stop with quite a large endo. He did well to avoid the rolling bike.

The guy with white helmet did really well to avoid hitting the chap on the floor. I have a slight sequence of the moment but it was very chaotic and I thought that one image I posted summed up the thread title quite well. BTW the accident did happen on a race track, Brands Hatch. Circuit racing is the only place to ride bikes fast, even then it's not 100% "safe". cheers

I've got a couple.

Second one is a stitch. Pardon the spare arm in there...

Interesting. I would have thought the guy in the vest was a track guide or track marshal of some sort. The guy you're not supposed to pass on a non-competitive track day, or something. Haven't done a track day yet myself, always on my (ever growing) list though of things that need to be done...
